The Pacific Coast Highway not in its usual bright blue clarity, but under an overcast sky that revealed the raw character of the coastline. During a drive from Carmel to Los Angeles, the muted weather emphasized the dramatic rock formations rising from the ocean. The waves crashed against them with both harmony and force, creating a scene that reflected the powerful and serene nature of the Pacific landscape.
